Black Bear Spotted In West Vincent Township

The black bear was spotted wandering through homes near Horseshoe Trail in West Vincent Township, Pennsylvania, and was caught on a home surveillance video rummaging through trash. The sighting is not cause for concern, but for safety, the Pennsylvania Game Commission is monitoring the bear's activity. The increase in sightings can be attributed to a loss of habitat, increased use of public property, new developments in forested areas, and increased reliance on human food.
