The Indiana state has launched a new initiative, IN AI, to encourage business adoption of artificial intelligence by businesses. The initiative aims to accelerate the use of AI in businesses, with small businesses receiving priority. The state believes early AI adoption will give Indiana businesses a competitive edge. The program will focus on "human-centered" AI approaches, with training modules and guides to AI best practices already available. Additionally, grants for AI adoption are possible, depending on the state's financial situation. Two business leaders attending the announcement said they have already used AI to use in their companies. However, mixed reviews of the AI's impact on employment have been mixed, with Goldman Sachs estimating it has raised unemployment by 0.1% over the past year.
