A report has suggested that President Donald Trump would support the elimination of Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, if he becomes an obstacle to U.S. goals. The Wall Street Journal reports that the assassination would likely be conducted by Israel. Despite previously opposing the selection of Mojtabe Khamenei and stating that he was not happy with him, Trump has expressed his desire to be involved in the appointment and said the new leader would not last long without Trump's approval. He also suggested that the United States needs to be able to deal with sane and rational people after the war and indicated that the war could end sooner than predicted.
