Netflix recently increased its premium tier to $26.99 a month, up from $24.99, while HBO Max increased its Premium plan to $22.99. Other platforms like Disney+ and Peacock have also increased prices. The price hikes have led to a backlash among cord-cutters, with some users taking to Reddit to express their frustration and canceling subscriptions. Kourtnee Jackson, senior editor at CNET, suggested that consumers looking to cut costs should consider bundling services.
