Meet the crew of Artemis II and see their spacecraft up close

The crew of Artemis II, including Jeremy Hansen, Christina Koch, Victor Glover and Reid Wiseman, have been preparing for their first human moon mission in over 50 years. The spacecraft will be transported from the Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center, Fla. to the launch pad on Jan. 17, 2026. The first full moon, the Strawberry Moon, set over the Orion capsule atop NASA's Space Launch System rocket on June 15, 2022, was seen as the final destination of the Artemis I mission. The rocket lifted off from Pad 39B on Nov. 16, 2022.
