A new lawsuit seeks financial damages for rapper Ye (formerly Kanye West) for allegedly punching a man in 2024 at the Chateau Marmont, which he later blamed for an alleged sexual assault of his wife, Bianca Censori. The alleged victim, identified as John Doe, claims that he hit his head on the concrete floor after Ye punched him in the face without provocation and then repeatedly punched him as he lay unconscious. The lawsuit alleges that Ye falsely accused the man of sexual assault and smeared his reputation by publishing false information about the incident. The incident was reported to the Los Angeles Police Department at the time, but no criminal charges were brought.
