San Antonio Spurs' center, Victor Wembanyama, has expressed his desire to win the MVP award after a 41-point performance in a recent road win against the Golden State Warriors. The Spurs have won 10 straight and Wemanyama has played in 15 of those games. His five consecutive 15-rebound games are the longest streak by a Spurs player since Dennis Rodman in 1995. If he doesn't win MVP, he is considered a lock for his first Defensive Player of the Year award. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the current favorite for the award, is also on a strong rise.
