Earthquake rumbles across parts of southeast Nebraska

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake that hit parts of southeast Nebraska, centered around 3 miles east of Cowles. The quake was reported just before 1 p.m. and reportedly traveled at least 86 miles. The public received calls and emails from people across the country who felt the impact of the earthquake.
