Sheffield settles into historic Manoogian Mansion

Mary Sheffield, the first female mayor of Detroit, has moved into the historic Manoogian Mansion, which was donated to the city in 1965 to be used as a mayor's residence. The seven-bedroom, nine-bath mansion was built in 1927 for $65,000 and has been home to the Mayors Residence Society. The city has not disclosed any plans for renovations to the century-old home.
