Meta Smart Glasses Can Now Track All the Food You Put Into Your Mouth

Meta has announced a new, prescription-focused style of Ray-Ban-branded smart glasses, the Meta Ray-ban Display, which can now track all food eaten through the Meta AI app. The glasses owners will be able to snap a photo of their food using a voice prompt and log it in the MetaAI app, which will then extract key nutrition details using AI and photos. The company hopes this will enable users to make healthier, informed choices based on these insights. However, there are concerns about privacy issues and battery life issues due to the need for the camera to be constantly recording. Other features include hands-free WhatsApp summaries, display recording, and a new Spotify shortcut.
