President Donald Trump's threat to send U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to American airports coincides with one of the busiest times of year for Portland International Airport. The Port of Portland, which operates PDX, expects nearly 1.4 million passengers to pass through the airport between March 19 and April 14, a 2% increase from the previous year. This comes after Democrats failed to reach a funding deadline for the Department of Homeland Security.
