New research by giffgaff has revealed that 88% of Brits are desperate for a mood lift, but many struggle to justify expensive treats due to low living costs. One in five admitted to relying on a pick-me-up every two to three days, while 33% said they haven't had a single self-care treat in a year. Top self-service activities included listening to music (42%) and long walks (40%) and reading a book (24). Massage was popular for 19%, while 12% enjoyed sauna or steam room time or grooming treatments. The study also revealed that 58% of Britons are looking up spa days, grooming treatments, and dream holidays for a needed mood lift. To boost the mood, giff gaff is offering data boosts of up to 200% to customers.
