After the US and Israel launched strikes on Iran, local residents from the Jewish community in South Florida expressed concerns about the attacks. The Jewish Federation of Broward County president, Audra Berg, expressed hope that Jewish people could remain safe. The Miami Beach Police Department increased security in response to the attacks, with uniformed officers stationed at various locations across the city. There are currently no immediate threats to residents on Miami Beach, but officials have urged people to remain calm and vigilant.
