Chicago veterans protest against Trump administration's military interventions on Memorial Day

Chicago veterans gathered at Chicago's Vietnam Memorial to commemorate the fallen and protest against the Trump administration's military interventions around the world on Memorial Day. The Vietnam War, considered the most unpopular war in the US, was also the subject of anti-war protests at the memorial site. Many of the demonstrators included younger veterans disillusioned with the institution they served with, stating they are not fighting for freedom. They also expressed their dissatisfaction with the ongoing military operations under the current administration.
