The first Bungie Marathon update, 1.0.0., has been live and includes numerous balancing changes to the game. The biggest feature is a UESC nerf, making the game's AI enemies less difficult. This change was made to preserve ammunition and meds for players in solo and crew matches, but Bungie emphasized the need to keep enemies in the game tough. The Marathon patch also includes increased Med Cabinets and Munitions Crates spawn at a higher rate on the Perimeter map, and more starting ammo for sponsored kits. The game's first major patch was also designed to address issues such as the issue of players dying instantly in confinement events. Other notable changes include an increase in the number of starting ammo in MIDA, CyberAcme, and Arachne free Sponsored Kits, a decrease in the health of most UEsC enemies, and reduced the difficulty of the UespC Commander encounter.
