Despite President Donald Trump's claims that the air war on Iran has ousted the regime, there is no indication that it has lost power, according to Western officials and experts. The U.S. and Israel have killed numerous senior figures in Iran's clerical regime, including former supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, Ali Larijani, Mohammad Pakpour, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, ministers of intelligence and defense, and a slew of other senior commanders. However, the regime shows no sign of unraveling and its successors are known as equally hard-line or more militant than their predecessors.
