Shohei Ohtani climbing list of longest on-base streaks

The longest on-base streak, set by Joe DiMaggio in 1941, is set at 74 games, a record that no one has ever surpassed. Williams led the league with 162 walks and won his second AL MVP award after leading the league in the league and earning his second of two AL MVP Awards. Other notable players include Marce Cabrera's 10-week streak, which began with a home run on Sept. 16, 1995, and Joe McGwire's 62-game streak began in 1995. The list also includes nine Hall of Famers who have managed to record a 57-game or 57 consecutive games, including Boggs and Tom Thomas.
