Global stock markets fell and oil prices rose due to concerns over the Middle East conflict, despite U.S. President Donald Trump extending a deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. All three main indexes in Wall Street were trading lower, with consumer discretionary, financial and technology shares contributing losses.
