Newly released 911 recordings reveal the shooting death of Cumberland County Deputy Capt. Adam Bean, who was off-duty, raising more questions than answers about the incident on March 27. The recordings reveal a woman at the scene struggling to explain what led up to the shooting, including how the deputy was shot. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is leading the case and has not yet identified the other officer involved in the shooting. The shooting occurred during a dispute involving two off-defence law enforcement officers. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
