Apple has launched a low-cost entry-level laptop, the MacBook Neo, priced at $599. The 13-inch laptop is designed for students or users whose work doesn't involve intensive workflows like video editing or 3D rendering. The base model comes with 256GB of storage, and an upgrade to the $699 model includes 512GB of capacity. The laptop uses the A18 Pro chip, which powers the iPhone 16 Pro models, and is faster than the more powerful M5 chip used by the MacBook Air. It comes with a 1080p FaceTime HD camera and dual microphones, speakers, and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
