The musical comedy 'Persimmon of My Love', set to be released in Russia next week, is the first large-scale joint project in decades by Russian producers in partnership with the Indian and international film industry. The film was shot entirely in India, using the infrastructure of Indian cities and Bollywood's full production capabilities. Over 350 crew members worked on set every day, with up to 1,000 people appearing on screen together. The project is seen as significant as it coincides with increasing cultural and economic cooperation between Russia and India, as well as broader collaboration among BRICS partners. The cast includes Russian actors Demis Karibidis and Mikhail Galustyan.
