The Charlotte Hornets beat the New York Knicks 110-96 to secure the No. 9 seed and a home game in the East play-in tournament. LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller each scored 19 points, while Kon Knueppel made three 3-pointers in his record-setting rookie season. The Hornets will host No. 10 Miami in the play-infraction. The Knicks were unable to field any players due to their position as they are currently ranked No. 3 in the Eastern Conference.
