Discover is ending support for two Apple Pay features, Connected Accounts and Pay with Rewards, effective June 4, 2026. The move comes as part of an effort to streamline the use of rewards points at checkout and access to the account balance of connected credit cards in the Apple Wallet app. The changes will only apply to Discover cardholders in the United States. Despite this, the core functionality of using a Discover card with Apple Pay remains unchanged.
