Australia's export credit agency, Export Finance Australia, has agreed to underwrite fuel imports by Viva, Ampol to boost supply. This comes as Australia has experienced localised shortages since the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran began in February. Energy Minister Chris Bowen stated that this arrangement will allow companies to purchase non-commercial fuel that otherwise would go to other countries.
