New mother Keishera Joubert welcomed her baby, Cassian, after a rare life-saving procedure was performed at 19 weeks into her pregnancy. The operation saved Cassian's life after doctors diagnosed him with Congenital High Airway Obstruction Syndrome, a rare condition where a baby's airway is blocked before birth. This is the first time a successful surgery has been performed for a baby like Cassian. To address the blockage, Cassan will undergo at least three more surgeries before he turns two.
