A woman, who has been married to her husband for six years, finds that his in-laws don't respect their boundaries when they come to visit and discuss personal matters with them. Her husband's mother often calls him several times a day and asks detailed questions about personal matters, such as finances, plans for the weekend, and disagreements. Despite this, she feels that their home isn't fully our own and feels like it should be kept between them. She has asked for more privacy and more space to develop her own rhythm as a couple. Suggestions to encourage healthier boundaries with her in-law can be made.
