Ndiaga Diagne, the suspected terror-related mass shooter in Austin, entered the US in 2000 on a B-2 tourist visa during the Clinton administration and later became a lawful permanent resident on an IR-6 visa in June 2006. Despite a string of arrests in New York City between 2008 and 2016, Diagne became a naturalized US citizen under former President Barack Obama's second term. He was also arrested on undisclosed charges in Texas and was a known emotional disturbed person in both states. The FBI is investigating whether Diagne was motivated by the US-Israel-led campaign against Iran.
