Cardi B Wins Right to Recover $20K in Trial Costs After Beating Security Guard’s Assault Lawsuit

Cardi B has been awarded the right to recover nearly $20,000 in trial fees following her victory in a court case against security guard Emani Ellis. The cost will cover the $19,690.26 legal tab from Ellis, who lost her assault lawsuit against Cardi B in September. Ellis had been trying to avoid paying the fees since November. Judge Ian C. Fusselman found the costs to be "reasonable" and rejected Ellis' motion to dodge the sum. The court also ruled that Cardi and her attorney, Ron Rosen Janfaza, provided substantial evidence in their opposition.
