KAMC Forecaster Larry Rodriguez has updated the weather for April 12, 2026. Temperatures are expected to reach the lower to middle 50s on the Caprock and lower 60s off the Capro. Winds will be strong from the southwest at about 15-20 mph, leading to an elevated fire risk for the entire area. The weather will be dry and windy, with high temperatures expected to be in the 80s and low lows.
