Wisconsin River Falls' women's hockey team advanced to their third consecutive Division III championship by defeating Amherst College 3-1. Goals were scored by Alexa Niccum, Megan Goodreau and Madison Kadrlik, with Jordan O'Kane stopping 30 shots. The Falcons will face Nazareth in the national championship game, set for 3 p.m. Goodreau set a Division III single-season record with her 18th power play goal, surpassing the record set by Elmira's Cassidy Delainey in 2015. This marks the third consecutive year the Falcons will play for a national championship in their own rink.
