Painter's artwork returns to public after 65 years

Sheila Fell's painting, Pathway to a Farm, has been returned to public display after more than 60 years. The painting was acquired by its sole owners in 1961 and displayed in their Cockermouth home until recently. It was purchased by the Castlegate House Gallery and is now on display. Art expert Steve Swallow described it as one of the best works by Fell and the most significant painting by her.
