The complaint alleges that retaliation followed shortly after Hudson submitted the complaint, with the department issuing a disciplinary charge against her just six days after her complaint was forwarded to the Office of Professional Responsibility and Legal Affairs for investigation. The complaint also alleges that Hudson was subjected to a pattern of "hostile treatment" following her complaint, which included consistently negative performance evaluations from Johnson, selective enforcement of appearance standards and the strategic placement of associates of Johnson in supervisory positions over her.
