BYD's new Blade EV Battery 2.0 unlocks 1,000+ km pure electric range and ultra-fast charging. The company's luxury sedan, the Yangwang U7, will be the first to feature the new battery. The new battery is a significant improvement from the 600 km (373 miles) CLTC range in the first-generation Blade Battery. The announcement comes as BYD's sales in China have slowed due to a surge in new domestic EVs. As the company expands overseas, the new technology could help drive growth.
