Charles Collier, Rebel Wilson's UK agent, has addressed the legal mess surrounding The Deb, which represents Wilson's directorial debut. Collier stated that the legal issue arose due to a clash of personalities on the independent film, The Deb. Wilson is being sued for defamation by Charlotte MacInnes, who alleges that she tarnished her reputation by alleging that she had made a sexual harassment complaint against The Deb producer Amanda Ghost. Wilson insists that MacIness told her that an incident involving MacInens and Ghost had made her feel uncomfortable. Coller attempted to help resolve tensions between Wilson and Ghost following the incident, but was clearly unimpressed. He also sent an email to Wilson suggesting an "ethic" clause in Ghost's producer contract that would have allowed the production to suspend or terminate her deal if she had behaved inappropriately.
