Justin Morris, the songwriter behind the Durham band Sluice, has written some of the sharpest lyrics about the Triangle yet to be written. His third album, "Friendly", is out on Friday and he plans to tour across the country in May. The band is part of a growing group of alt-country-tinged rock bands that have grown in Durham since the mid-2000s. The release of the album led to increased interest in Morris' work and he increased production.
