Chagrin Falls defeated Canton Central Catholic 55-53 in the Division V regional semifinal on March 11. The Crusaders had led for almost the entire game, but Canton managed to claw back the deficit with three consecutive 3-pointers from Mikey Bajornas. A Quin Bargar 3-pointer gave them a four-point lead with less than three minutes left. Jake Bowling was fouled with five seconds left, and his two free throws sealed the victory. The victory moves Chagrin F to play Lutheran East in a D-V regional final on March 14. Despite the loss, coach Dave Bargar expressed pride in his team's performance and resilience.
