SeatGeek, a platform that allows users to purchase tickets, has faced backlash for offering a job offer that includes $25,000 in "gender-affirming care". The position, which pays as much as $175,000 per year, also includes unlimited PTO, $500 per year for wellness expenses, subscriptions to a meditation and therapy app, and $120 per month for live events. However, social media users have been critical of the policy, suggesting it supports price gouging. The application page also mentions SeatGeek's commitment to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees regardless of race, color, religion, age, national origin, gender identity or expression, disability, military or veteran status, or any other protected category.
