A gold watch recovered from wealthy passenger Frederick Sutton, who died on the Titanic in 1912, is set to be auctioned off for up to $108,000. While Sutton's body was buried at sea, his personal items, including the 18-carat gold watch, were transported to Halifax, Nova Scotia, aboard another ship. The watch's seconds hand is frozen in time at the moment it entered the cold North Atlantic water. The company facilitating the auction describes the watch's "significant" significance, highlighting its importance to collectors and historians. The Titanic, which hit an iceberg on April 14, 1912, has remained at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean for 114 years.
