Lenoir man arrested after K-9 smells meth during traffic stop

A North Carolina man, 55-year-old David Larry Scott, was arrested after a K-9 alerted deputies to the scent of methamphetamines during a traffic stop. While searching the vehicle, they found 37 grams of the drug, valued at $5,550. Scott was charged with two counts of trafficking in methamphetamine and maintaining a vehicle for narcotics. He was placed under a $75,000 secured bond.
