TVA board names Mike Skaggs interim president and CEO after Don Moul retires

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Board of Directors has named Mike Skaggs as its new interim President and CEO. This follows the resignation of Don Moul, who was promoted to the position in 2025. The decision comes after President Donald Trump removed a TVA board member without explanation. Skoggs, who has over 40 years of experience in the utility industry, will be the new interim CEO.
