Netflix has revealed a new family drama series, Kennedy, based on Fredrik Logevall’s book JFK: Coming of Age in the American Century, 1917-1956. The series will explore the triumphs and tragedies of the most famous American family. Michael Fassbender has been cast as Joe Kennedy Sr. Laura Donnelly will play Rose Kennedy, Nick Robinson will play Joe Kennedy Jr., and Joshuah Melnick will play John F. Kennedy. Despite not yet announcing a premiere date for Kennedy, production is underway in London and it is likely it won't hit Netflix until 2027. The first season will consist of eight episodes.
