Meijer is set to open a 159,000-square-foot supercenter at the former Geauga Lake site in Bainbridge Township, Ohio, on May 6. The store will also include a pharmacy and a wide range of retail departments. This is the 59th time Meijer has opened a store in Ohio. The company had previously explored building a store on the property in 2018 but plans for this project fell through in mid-2000. Since its first Ohio store, Meijers has grown to employ over 14,000 people across the state.
