Dem Voters Nominate Radical ‘Abolish ICE’ Candidate For Key Senate Seat

Juliana Stratton, a Democrat candidate for a United States Senate seat in Illinois, has won the Democratic nomination to replace outgoing Sen. Dick Durbin, winning 40% of the vote and defeating Reps. Raja Krishnamoorthi and Robin Kelly. In her victory speech, Stratton reiterated her call for the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). She also emphasized her far-left priorities, including Medicare for all, and a real living wage for all. Illinois Democrat Gov. JB Pritzker supported Stratton's campaign and contributed $5 million to a political action committee supporting her campaign.
