The Ravens have withdrawn a trade for Raiders player Maxx Crosby that would have resulted in him being sent to Baltimore, citing medical concerns. However, sources have questioned whether Crosby's injury history, which was exacerbated by a knee surgery in January, was the reason for the trade's collapse. The Ravens had previously traded a first-round pick for a veteran player, the first time they had done so. The deal was rescinded after hours of the deal fell apart, with Baltimore signing Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson just hours after. Crosby had signed a three-year, $106.5 million extension with the Raiders last March, but remained eager to compete for a championship. Despite the trade’s collapse, Crosby remains hopeful about starting the 2026 season in a home season.
