The Sonoma County Coroner's Office has identified Brigitte Manspeaker as the woman who died following a kayaking accident in Tomales Bay, California. The couple, who were in their 30s, were found dead when their kayak capsized on March 21 near Mendoza Beach. The incident was reported by a person on shore who saw two people in the water but did not witness the kayak overturn. The man was treated for hypothermia and the second victim was found about 200 yards from the overturned kayak and later pronounced dead at a local hospital. There is no way of knowing how long the couple was in the ocean before they were rescued.
