Australia grants asylum to two more Iranian women soccer players

Australia has granted humanitarian visas to two more members of the Iranian women's soccer team who decided to stay in the country due to fears for their safety if they returned home. The decision was made following concerns raised by Iranian state television for their refusal to sing the national anthem during an Asia Cup match. The remaining players have been invited back to Iran with "peace and confidence", according to Iranian media reports.
