Arrests, Hit-and-runs, And Shoplifting: Melrose Police Log

Melrose Police have reported several arrests, including one for shoplifting, a hit-and-run, and a burglary. Rachel Sgori, 35, from Reading, was arrested on charges of shoplifting by asportation, providing false identification to law enforcement, and two warrants. Susan Medina Castro, 24, from Lynn, will be summonsed on leaving the scene of property damage after police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at Hunt’s Photo and Video. Karoline Gomes Geber, 28, from Saugus will be charged with operating an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle after police conducted a stop at Melrose High School.
