The trial of Christopher Preciado, accused of murdering Savanah Soto, Matthew Guerra and their unborn child in 2023, began this week. Preciad is also facing two additional charges related to the deaths. If convicted, he could face up to life in prison without parole. His father, Ramon, was also arrested on charges of tampering with evidence and abuse of a human corpse. Myrta Romanos, Christopher's mother, was later arrested on allegations that she tried to help cover up the crime. The trial is expected to last more than a week and includes law enforcement officers from multiple agencies, an expert witness and family members from the Guerra, Soto and Soto families.
