The City of Dallas is celebrating National Community Development Week with a series of events, activities, and outreach efforts to highlight the benefits of programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Consolidated Plan. The city will engage residents, civic leaders, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and media partners throughout the week to learn about these programs' strategic investments. The Mayoral Proclamation will be officially recognized on Wednesday, April 8, and the Annual Community Development Bus Tour will take place on April 11.
