Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds Set Fall Arena Tour

Sturgill Simpson's alter ego, Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds, has announced a Fall Arena Tour, following the release of their solely physical release Mutiny After Midnight, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 a week ago. The tour will begin on Sept. 4 in Austin, Texas, and will cover 29 cities before concluding at Lexington, Kentucky’s Rupp Arena on Oct. 30. Starting in 2024, Sturgill will begin releasing albums under his alter ego Passage du Desir, starting with 2021's The Ballad of Dood and Juanita. The album debuted at number 3 on Billboard 200 and moved 59,000 units following its release on vinyl, CD and cassette. Mutiny after Midnight is available for download on iTunes as a full album, including an exclusive bonus track, a cover of Eddie Murphy's 1985 hit "Party All the Time."
